We would like to celebrate the launch of our MCL group website!
The Materials and Catalysis Laboratory is part of the Department of Chemical Engineering at University College London. This group was started by Dr Feng Ryan Wang in January, 2016 for research into materials and catalysis. Our two main research areas are heterogeneous catalysis and electrocatalysis.
The group currently has 10 members – 1 lecturer, 2 postdocs and 7 PhD students.
Our collaborators include DTU (Danmarks Tekniske Universitet), ETH Zürich, Queen Mary University of London, University of Glasgow, Peking University, Cardiff University, Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Slovenskej Technickej Univerzity (STU), UK Catalysis Hub, Diamond Light Source and BESSY II Photon Source.
We have received funding from prestigious institutions such as RSC (The Royal Society), EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council), CSC (China Scholarship Council), The Danish Council for Independent Research and Newton International Fellowship.
Our group also has industrial collaborations with Johnson Matthey and Toyota.
We look forward to sharing some of our research ideas and innovations on this website.
Hope you enjoy!
